Frequently asked questions

Is Matcha better than coffee?

Excessive coffee consumption can have a number of adverse effects, including elevated stress levels, nervousness, increased blood pressure and digestive issues such as acid reflux. Switching to Matcha can alleviate these issues and provide a calmer, clearer source of energy.

How does matcha differ from green tea?

Key Differences:

  • Growing: Matcha tea plants are shade-covered for 20-40+ days before harvest, boosting chlorophyll and amino acids for vibrant green color and smooth taste. Regular green tea grows in full sunlight.
  • Processing: Matcha leaves have stems and veins removed, then are stone-ground into fine powder. Regular green tea uses whole leaves for steeping.
  • Consumption: With matcha, you drink the entire powdered leaf and get all its nutrients. Regular tea only gives you the steeped liquid.

What is mindful energy?

Matcha contains both natural caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid that creates a calm, focused feeling without making you sleepy. This combination delivers steady, long-lasting energy that keeps you alert and focused without the jitters or energy crashes that coffee often causes.

How long does the effect last?

You can expect to feel calm and focused for 4-6 hours after taking one serving, but this can vary from person to person.

Can Matcha help with stress?

Absolutely! Matcha is famous for its ability to calm you down, help you focus and reduce stress. People often call it "nature's de-stress espresso" because it can help you stay alert and focused.

How much caffeine does it have?

Each serving contains 46mg of natural caffeine and 36mg~64mg of L-theanine. The combination of these two elements ensures that you have 4–6 hours of calm, focused energy—without the crash or jitters.

Is Matcha keto diet-friendly?

Yes, our Matcha is keto-friendly since it's sugar-free and has no carbs.

Is it vegan?

Is there any added sugar?

No, our matcha does not contain any sugar or other additives, except for the flavoured varieties. Please check the nutritional information before purchasing.

What does JAS/EU/USDA Certified Organic actually mean?

All of our farms are 100% organic certified, which means we regularly test for heavy metals and harmful chemicals. We'll never use pesticides or synthetic, chemical fertilizer on our Japanese matcha farm. We use centuries-old traditions for growing, and rely on the natural ecosystem to produce healthy, hearty tea leaves, which are shade-grown and hand-picked.
